Lions Xmas cakes available all year till sold out.
They're great for smoko and also make an instant dessert with some custard or ice cream.
We've kept cakes for up to 2 years and they seem to get better with age:  1kg is $10.00;  1.5kg is $14.00
All profits go towards the Lions Medical Research Foundation.

Planting Tips
Prepare your vegie garden for the warmer growing season.
We've added compost and Searles 5 in 1® Plus to the soil - raked in.
If you buy new soil make sure you test the pH before you plant your seedlings.
pH testing kits will last you for years.

The pH level should be around 6.5-7 for most vegies to thrive.
After this, you need to mulch the top of the soil.
We use lucerne mulch for the green crops and sugar cane mulch for the root crops.
These mulches are excellent because you can dig them into the soil after you harvest each crop.
